A drive shaft pinion gear for a 1994 Force or Mercury 120-HP lower unit type D is a 14 tooth gear with [the number] 43-824447-05M stamped in it. At first I thought 43-824447-05M was a part number, but after trying to verify that through different part data bases no one could confirm that, so I thought 43-824447-05M might have another meaning. [What is the meaning of 43-824447-05M?]

Perhaps it is a part number for the foundry in China where it was made for Mercury.
