As some of you know, I have been asking questions about the Outrage II. We wanted the outrage hull shape as the Montauk can ride a little hard depending on the weather. We liked the Outrage II due to the cockpit layout and amount of storage but it still had the classic hull design.

Last Friday I was in Port Clinton, OH for a weekend on Lake Erie. While filling up my Montauk at the gas station, a guy walks over and strikes up a conversation. In passing, I mentioned I was thinking of getting a bigger Whaler. 10 minutes later he made me an offer. I turned the Montauk over to him yesterday morning in Ohio then drove to Grand Haven, MI with a pocket full of cash and put a deposit on the Outrage. I'll pick it up tonight.

1992 Outrage II with a 1992 Yamaha 150HP two-stroke with hydraulic steering. It's a low hour fresh water boat with no bottom paint and runs like a dream.

I'll be on Lake Michigan this weekend, probably out of St. Joe.

If the best days are the days you buy and sell your boat, I had a great one yesterday.

Congratulations Terry. And we even have some summer left for you to get some hours on your Outrage.

PeteB88 - I'll be picking it up about 7pm so I'll just bring it home and do all the government paperwork tomorrow. Maybe I'll bring it back up from Kzoo this weekend. Will you be around?

All right!

I was just getting ready to send you an email to find out how the second half of your trip worked out after getting the briefing on your first leg. Long day.

By the way, that horse choking wad of cash you had didn't look to me like it'd fit in a pocket.

This Weekend - Saturday for sure, might be forced to go to Lansing Sunday. Keep in touch, it'd be fun.

Meridian IV(?) at St. Joseph. It was confirmed that it's the perfect size for the courtesy docks at the Boathouse Bar & Grill.

Warning: Bad cell phone photos.

Sorry about the horizon... Lake Michigan was kind of diagonal yesterday.
