Could anyone send or post photos of a mooring cover from Mills that is on a Montauk of the same hull design? With this era of Montauk the clip system Mills developed does not work. If possible photos of how the new system works would be great. Closer photos would be nice as well. My Montauk has both the bow and side rails. I know Mills makes a nice product, just curious about the fit finish and technique used to fasten it to the boat. As they say a pictures is worth a thousand words. Thanks, Gary |

Confused...My mills had a clip system on my 86 & 89 which is the same hull as your 99. |

As they also say, close but not the same. The hull was changed in the rub rail area sometime after your boat was built. The new shape means that the clip system they devised does not work on my year of boat. |

Yeah..I think they went to the heavy duty all black rubrail which is much thicker. They should be able to use a different clip though. Check E-Bay, Cabellas and Overtons for a decent but obviously not Mills quality cover...nor price. A custom cover would also be great and still cheaper than Mills as well which is what I do. |

Mills has a clip system for newer Whalers, see the photo from their web site. It works very well. http://www.millscanvas.com/moorin4.jpg |
