Gosh darn it! I've just been combing the reference section for the diagram of the pinout of the OMC red plug. I _swear_ I've seen it on CWW, but now I'm starting to think maybe I'm crazy and have not seen it. I found the ignition switch diagrams and the color coding chart as well but still... am I crazy or does this thing really exist? Jim, I did not put this in the maintenance forum because there are no maintenance techniques being asked for or given. I'm sure you'll move it if need be though. -Peter |

FWIW, I found one on another site, so the pressure is off now. :) But I still swear I saw on here, too. Oh well. -Peter |

The pin arrangement, conductor color code, and circuit function for the OMC wiring harness using the large circular red rubber-body Amphenol connector typically seen in OMC engines made prior to c.1996 is nicely shown in the REFERENCE article on the ignition switch wiring. See http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/ignitionSwitch.html Please use the SMALL BOAT ELECTRICAL discussion area for this topic. |

Thanks Jim. Gosh darn, I looked at that page too. I don't know how I missed it. I post so rarely about small boat electrical, that I forgot it even existed as a forum. Sorry. -Peter |
