Just saw a Coleman outboard advertised in a new Cabela's catalog. 2.6 and 5 HP 4-Strokes.
The 2.6 is advertised as a 'Cabela's Exclusive'@ $649.00.
The Coleman Outboards website shows 5, 9.9 and 15 HP.
Interesting marketing.

Those are repackaged SAIL outboard motors. SAIL outboards are made in China.

You can buy a Suzuki 2.5 for less and have a name brand.

Coleman says they are made by Parsun in China.
I did find some information on Parsun branded outboards being sold in Australia for the last few years.
