I'm looking at buying this Whaler (for use in France):

http://www.leboncoin.fr/nautisme/173670256.htm?ca=6_s

It's listed as a 1976 Tashmoo. Can anyone help identify it? It has a side console and no platforms front nor rear. I have other photos I can email. Thanks!

Dallas

It might have started life as a Tahsmoo...or somehting else.

As is, it just old 16'-7" Whaler hull with some aftermarket console in it.

Given the blue interior, it is likely is was made before 1971 and regardless of color, it can be no later than 1975; the hull has no "smirk".

The boat has been painted so it could have been tan inside...my bud painted his 74 blue inside because he liked it. They did make 76 non smirked as I believe the smirked hulls were later built in 76 as I owned one. Tashmoos were never blue inside as far as I know.

Upon further research of pics sent to me...it was blue inside(72 or older) and looks to have maybe been a Katama. Owner wants $5k...hahahahahahhahahahaha!
