Hi. Seller claims this is a Boston Whaler 13'. Please confirm or deny. Thanks!

The boat in question is the one one the left, blue interior tied up to the bulkhead. Thansk!

Yes it is, and a watterlogged one at that.

Thanks Tom. What make you think it's water logged? Is it sitting too low in the water? It's hard to tell from the pic whether I'm looking at a shadow or whether it's really sitting that low.

It is sitting way too low in the water... and is (aside from a little water) an empty boat at that.

Run, do not walk away.

I think it is obvious. There is no motor, battery or fuel tank aboard...nothing. It is sitting very bow down. You can see a puddle of water sitting in the bow. You can see the waterline at the bow.

We can tell the boat is old and by the growth and general filth that is has been sitting in the water a very long time.

Furthermore, we can see fiberglass repairs and a reinforced transom which suggests the plywood in there is wet and rotten too.

I wouldn't touch that boat with a ten foot pole.

"I wouldn't touch that boat with a ten foot pole."

I would just to keep the smell away.

Boats like this(and "some" sellers of these boats) are what give old Whalers a bad reputation of being waterlogged POS.
