I looked in the reference, but the table seems to stop short. I likely missed something. But, I'm looking at a whaler 13 sport with Hull number 2C8892. What year would that boat be?

Also, the boat shows evidence of a water line inside the boat. Owner says it's from where it was on a mooring - and he also kept the plug in the transom - so it's from rainwater. Is that of concern? It causes a line on the inside of the hall wall that intersects the floor just below the throttle/shift controls. I have pictures at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/23699137@N04/6107041700/in/photostream . If you check out the other pictures, you can see the brass tube isn't bad - so can I assume that water didn't infiltrate there?

Sorry it's not a valid link, for whatever reason, my HTML is off....

Chuck

The stencil # can not tell you an exact year but the HIN can if the boat is a post 1972 whaler and it still has the HIN tag.

One thing though...the brass drain tube on the exterior of the hull is bad. It looks to have failed as it is missing the flared edge and o-ring seal. If you look at this image below it looks like there could be lot of water in the foam and it is causing osmotic blisters from the inside out in the sump area. I have seen this type of blistering on waterlogged hulls I have looked at in person.

Thanks Jeff. I'm glad I posted the picture; last thing I want is another wet hull. I've passed on that one and am looking at other options. Chuck
