Yup , they got him and now a full confession ....... http://www.ctpost.com/policereports/article/ Cops-Man-set-fires-in-2-towns-on-same-night-2412836.php Minimal damage to my 25 revenge was up and running just a few days after the event. My fleet is now protected with infrared cameras, never thought this could happen to me. Creep cut the fuel line and set it afire , the boat had 130 gallons aboard. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x44/ribside/camera.jpg |

WOW What an As*#@le. Hopefully he will get a nice cell with Bubba, and the rest of his fires will require preporation H to extinguish. |

Glad to hear it was minimal damage, it certainly could have been much worse for the whaler and any nearby structures. Sounds like this guy should get the maximum sentence. He probably will repeat if given the chance. |

You will have understood that by now; The destruction of your hull was not meant to be. Good Karma and efforts to keep the mind in a positive mode has a way to carry on, in reality. I know that you will breeze through this ordeal and take the occasion to update the boat. I will trust that you will do the right thing and secure all the loose ends. With my sympathy. Serge. |

The sad thing is that, he will now get a trail (even though he confessed), On the tax payers expense, they will fine him insane or guilty (really does not matter) and now we will have to flip the bill for this guy for many years to come...This case is not as bad as the one I read in the local paper yesterday (think it happen in New York), Lady was in an elevator coming back from the grocery store, the elevator open, this guy threw gas on her, and then set her on fire. She died, and again we will flip the bill for this low life. He stated she owed him money.... |

This may have been talked about previously, but I saw on TV last night that a guy stole a very nice BW because he was mad that someone bought it before he did. He then went on a a "high" speed chase with the cops which eneded in the BW coming off the trailer and sliding down the Interstate. I didnt catch the town or the dealer's name, but I believe it to be in new england some where. |

Score one for the good guys! I wish the other CT forum member whom lost his Revenge only to find it stripped in an abandoned Bridgeport lot has similar good fortune in eventually apprehending the perpetrator of that dirty deed. I hate the though of even driving through Bridgeport next week after Christmas. Top of the list used to be the Cross-Bronx Expressway in NYC proper. |

The elevator incident happened after the guy was fired. Times have really changed. If I have to lay someone off because of the economy today I need to wear a bullet proof vest and watch my backside for the next year. Didn't used to be this way. |

Granted it's probably not easy to look good in a mug shot, but have you ever noticed that some people just look like criminals? |

Former fire fighter that sets five fires in a night definitely has a screw loose. You would like to think he will come out a rehabbed person but unfortunately that is generally not the case. This guy definitely needs some help. |

The sad thing is chuck is probably correct, and he will serve only two years, People like this are the ones I have no compassion for, they have committed a crime for no reason other than either to stroke their own ego, or for revenge and then claim that they are crazy. Then (not bashing the lawyers here) are allowed an attorney to defend their actions. James is correct they should rot in jail but not here, better in a South American prison. |

(0.50 cal round with his name engraved on it.) I don't think property damage is punishable by death in the USA. All arsonists are mentally unstable (crazy), and I think a serial arsonist can get life. I think most arson fires are motivated by insurance money, or an attempt to murder someone in the fire, which could be premeditated murder. |

Binkster, I didn't seriously mean that bit about the 0.50cal round! Cheers, Dom |
