Nope, not Green Bay. Even better, Eli and the Midgets. Who's got some bettin' bucks they're desperately anxious to be relieved of?Tuco |

LOL, The 49ers, yea, right. Barely squeaked by a beat up team that lost to the lowly Bucs. The 49ers will point NY to the Super Bowl |

OK Tony, the bet is dinner. The Giants and I go back to the early '60s - Y.A. Tittle and Eddie LeBaron (Dallas). Either when you get up here to Juneau next summer or we get to Bodega Bay July 30 or so for a wedding (Believe it!?, a girlfriend of our girls, our "third" daughter", from Juneau is getting married in Bodega Bay!). Best of luck to the 9'ers, they played well yesterday (and I always liked John Brodie). DAGs (Dumb A__ Giants because they lost to the Deadskins TWICE this year!) did well today. JimP |

Juneau is still a real possibility for us this coming summer, Jim, and glad to hear you folks are heading back down here in July. We'll have a Whaler standing by for harbor cruises for the wedding guests. Some of you may know that George Seifert, 49ers coach during the second half of the glory years, is an inveterate fisherman based out of Bodega Bay. Pretty cool guy who never flexes his celebrity status -- he's just another "George" during VHF chatter, and seems to get as much pleasure catching a big king salmon as winning the Super Bowl. Home field advantage plus one victory over the Giants already this year, and the Vegas odds-makers have the 49ers as 2 1/2 point favorites. Who'da thought it?! Tony |
