I have been trying to get in touch with Mike at Nautical Lumber since last Sunday. The phone number on the website is wrong -- the phone company intercept directs you to a new number. However, in calling that, I only get a voice mail, and I have left several different numbers. I have also sent e-mails with no response to date.
I really need to order some teak plywood and am wasting good working time right now waiting just to order the material.

Yes, Mike is still in business but, he is in the process of moving his shop and stock from one side of town to the other.

[I deleted 56-articles that were posted following Jeff's above. A great deal of amazingly insightful advice was offered on how to run a business. I have deleted the discussion because, as one reader commented, it turned into a food fight. I think several of the participants were suffering from cabin fever.--jimh]
I added updated information to the listing of recommended vendors in the REFERENCE section to reflect Nautical Lumber's new location.
As several suggested, the thread got a bit off-topic and out of hand. I removed a few remarks which perhaps do not require preservation. To start a new thread complaining about my moderation of this one, please use email.
