It's being reported that thre are dead and one missing in a California-to-Ensenada, Mexico yacht race. Looks like a 37-footer was hit by a larger vessel sometime overnight. Three bodies recovered and one still missing.

Divtruk= we were headed towards the Coronados yesterday to fish yellowtail. I have posted in another thread that on VHF channel 16, the CG emergency channel, there was A LOT of chatter in Spanish. The largest pieces of debris recovered were a seat cushion and a piece of the transom. One rescue boat said it appeared the 38 ft. vessel had "gone through a blender". I saw a photo on a Vessel Assist boat, that contained the two recovered boat pieces. Small and devastating. Apparently, race participants found a LOT of very small debris.
