Topic:   State of Massachusetts Boat Provenance Registration and Information for FP Hull 55

posted 07-19-2012 04:46 PM ET (US)         I am trying to complete some reserach toward the provenance of the Fisher Pierce hull that I acquired. I was told that the boat was acquired along with a home purchased in 1957 on Martha's Vineyard. I have some names associated with the sale of the home but would prefer not to disclose at this time. I am asking to see if anyone in the CW community is familiar with the boat registration process in Massachusetts? I believe the boat stayed in Massachusetts until 1978 at which time it made its way to Colorado. Specifically are there are written resources or individuals which may assist me in confirming the registration of this boat in Massachusetts circa 1957 and through 1978 and any documentation or records that may be available to the public? Making the connection between Dick Fisher's constructing this prototype hull and its eventual location on and use on the Vineyard would be very rewarding. Thank you.
