Out of pure curiosity has BW produced more boats than any other manufacturer?

Jay, I would guess there are many, many manfacturers that have made alot more boats than Whaler and in much less time. Whaler is over 50 years old at this point which helps, but I think Whaler is more a speciality boat purchased by people that appreciate and are willing to pay for what a Whaler is. I think their numbers are few in comparison to other brands. Look at any marina and the various brands, Searay, Bayliner, etc that are everywhere. Very few Whalers by comparison. Perhaps others with actual numbers can add to this Sterling Onlyawhaler |

The lower-cost entry level boats must be the most produced. If I had to made a guess on a single model, I'd say the Bayliner Capri; they're everywhere! |

I agree that there are a lot of other boats at the marina, but it seems that there are always a few BW's there too.. I think Sea Ray probably owns the title of most produced, but if you say the most produced in size 15-25, I think BW must own that title...

If the question was how many are still around, Whalers would be much closer to the lead. How may 20, 30, 40, or 50 year old Sea Rays or Bay Liners (there are not many 10 year old Bay Liners around!) are still around? |

Lund and Alumacraft must have made more boats than anyone else. |

Does Boston Whaler ever make these numbers know to the public? |
