From Muskegon Chronicle today: MUSKEGON, MI – Record-low water levels in Lake Michigan will play havoc with recreational boaters and anglers looking to have access to Muskegon Lake this spring.
The city of Muskegon’s launch ramps will officially open April 15 but access will be limited at several to small boats only. The low water on Muskegon Lake has made the city’s Hartshorn Marina and Fisherman’s Landing the best access for larger boats, city officials said.
...Klco said that he would recommend only “flat-bottom boats” try to use the park’s Snug Harbor launch at this time.
