Many years ago I began fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because I was a participant in the Leukemia Cup sailboat regatta (I'm also an avid sailor) and also because it is a very good cause. Many of our forum members have donated to in the past.
This year I am dedicating my efforts in the memory of our good friend Tony Wilde. Tony was an enthusiastic and proud supporter of my past fundraising campaigns, and I can think of no better way to honor him. I spoke to his wife Edie, and she is very supportive of this idea.
In addition, I have secured a corporate grant matching grant for the first $1000 in donations ($650 remaining!) If you can help me reach my fundraising goal, please click on the following link:

and follow the instructions on the upper right hand for donation logistics.
Please remember to check the box:

Rob, It was my pleasure! As active participants in LLS fundraising My wife and I know first hand how important these fundraising events are.
Also My daughter Isabel is a leukemia survivor and she represented the southern Palm Beach County Florida LLS "2013 man and woman of the year fundraising campaign" which she served as "girl of the year" to assist the fundraising "man of the year" candidates as a face for their efforts.
It is fantastic to see that many people will not only donate money but will also become personally involved by donating their time and efforts for a cause such as this. I know I don't have to tell you how rewarding participation in such events is so THANKS to you and your shipmates as well!
