Would 1 1/4 inch outriggers fit into the outrigger holders on the gunnell of my 1991 17 foot Outrage. I measured them and it seems they would be a little tight. What is the standard size riggers for these mounts?

Rotten, different size outriggers were made through the years, at 1st they were some that were 1 1/8 (do not think they make these anymore) then the 1 1/4, 1 1/2, and then I think the 2 inch. I think your boat should have the 1 1/4 just measure them, or borrow one for the trial fit...

Thanks contender, I measured them and they barely measure 1 1/4 in ID, so I am thinking they are 1 1/8 inch riggers. There are no markings on them whatsoever so I don't know wich brand the are. They have a pin inside as opposed to the hexagonal socket so the Taco 1 1/8 inch riggers don't fit ( too bad I found a good deal on Craigslist )So, I'll keep on searching

Perko and Lees made the 1 1/8 size outriggers, I think there are some cheap fiberglass ones out there that are 1 1/8 but do not know the names of them. Rotten the measurement is that with the spacer (not sure if that is the correct name for the rubber that fits at the end/around of the outrigger) to make it tight. would be like a insert for a rod holder...good luck to you
