My new neighbor trucked his Outrage 320 to Florida from Washington (state). The boat was damaged along the way. The company that is doing the repair showed him a "water in hull indicator." It sounds much like the cellular telephone battery water damage indicators. Has anyone else heard of this?--Mike

Sounds like the fiberglass guy used a [moisture] meter.

A Boston Whaler 320 OUTRAGE is a newer boat. You should check with Boston Whaler to confirm that the boat contains some sort of recording device that indicates moisture is present in the hull.

Your mention of such a device is news to me and the first I have ever heard of such a device being embedded in a Boston Whaler.
