Hello to all. I have been a reader of this forum for several years and it is about time I start to contribute.

My boat - 1983 Revenge
Power - 150 HP Honda 4 stroke, 9.9 Mercury Kicker
Hale from - Port Mansfield, Texas

Boating conditions today are glassy, foggy, 75 degrees, perfect.

I have attached a link to pictures of my boat and some recent adventures. I am the spear-gun guy and the other is my brother.

I am not a Boston Whaler perfectionist. I use my boat whenever the weather is good and bang it around pretty hard. Most trips are 25 to 50 miles offshore in 600 feet of water.

Therefore, I have done some simple modifications on my boat for the local condisions I think it will be interesting for some of you to see. I will post pictures and descriptions of the modifications in future posts.

Also, looking for Boston Whaler offshore fishermen in South Texas for combined trips for game fish.

Regards to all,

David Riegert

That is a REVENGE CUDDY - which is different than a 'standard' REVENGE WA or a REVENGE WT. Nice boat. How does it run with the single 150? I believe that is a 22, correct?

I feel it is a little underpowered. However, it makes up for the lower power with 3.5 to 4.0 MPG. I bought it as-is with 100 hours on the engine. Full speed, fully loaded, 32 MPH. Faster than the passenger's bodies can take in choppy conditions.

Dave -

Welcome aboard!

Port Mansfield, wow! I was last there in 1983! Low coast line to say the least.
