From my 1978 15-foot Boston Whaler, I completely removed the mahogany and refinished it all. In the process I managed to completely lose all of the hardware to re-install. This sucks. Does anyone have a list of hardware, size, and quantities needed? Anything would help! |

I do not have such a list. Typically the fasteners used to hold wood components in place on a smaller Boston Whaler boat are stainless steel wood screws with flat or oval heads. A finish washer was typically used with the flat-head or oval-head fasteners. |

I am in the process of refinishing the interior of a 1988 15 Super Sport. All the wood is pulled out and I have separated the hardware by size and type. Some of my hardware was missing from the go. If I can be of help let me know. Tom |

Well I would really just like to have any idea of what length and size screws I will be needed to secure everything down. I guess I can "guess as I go". I wish someone had a diagram |

I'm not sure they were very methodical in putting these together - I've worked on both 86 and 89 SuperSports and the screw locations were different. Get some stainless, oval head, #10 wood screws and have at it - most of them will be 2 1/2" inches but you may want some 3" as well. You'll also want stainless finish washers, and many people use a plastic washer underneath those to prevent the finish washer cutting into the varnish. Tim |

The exploded parts diagram for the 15 foot Whaler models will describe exactly what each fastener is and show where it goes. |
