posted 09-11-2009 09:58 AM ET (US) I have a 2007 190 Montauk and I need to repair a gelcoat ding. I see Spectrum offers patch kits in either Whaler White or antique white. Does anyone know which white I need? Thanks

I had the same issue when I went to get gel coat from Spectrum for my 2007 170 Montauk. I called Spectrum directly and they were able to tell me. It was a few years ago so I'm sorry to say I forgot which one it was.

I found my e-mail history with Spectrum from a few years back. They had me get the boat's serial number so they could tell me the exact color. My choices were antique white or flex white. Based on my serial number it was flex white I needed to go with.
So, in short, e-mail Spectrum's customer service with your boat's serial number.
There e-mail address is customerservice@spectrumcolor.com.
If you don't know your boat's serial number Boston Whaler can provide that for you as they did me.

Thanks
I'll send them an e mail. I've used their patch kits on other boats and was very happy with the color match.
