Went to Opening Day of the Seattle Boat Show today.
LOTS of Whalers - 12 in all. Beautiful display.
They had a 230 Vantage, 190 Outrage, 210, 190, 170 and 150 Montauks, 130, 150 and 170 SuperSports, 180 Dauntless and 315 and 285 Conquests.
Most all Montauks and Supersports had Moeller gas tanks. In fact the 230 Vantage had a Moeller built-in tank you could see under the rear deck. What happened to company owned Attwood?

Mercury had a beautiful 75th anniversary display, including 4 old, classic Mercs. One that looked like an original Thor/Mercury and a very nice 3.9 HP all chrome early 1960's Merc kicker motor.

And, of course, most people were wearing Seattle Seahawks hats, coats and jerseys. The boat show is right next to the Seahawks stadium.
Go Hawks!

It was well attended the day I went.
Long line at the door before it opened.
A lot of people milling around the Boston Whaler area.
General upbeat atmosphere. It was fun.
I'm sure the excitement of the Seattle Seahawks being in the Superbowl really helped!
