I got my 2014 West Marine catalog yesterday.
Each year West seems to add some new emphasis. This year
there were two added emphasis items:
- The very low end. Page after page of kayaks and stand-up
paddleboards.
- Megayachts. The most notable example is the megayacht
anchor in the lower right-hand corner of Page 214:
$119,419.99. !!!

I received my 2014 Defender Marine catalog today. The cover photo depicts a mega yacht the likes of which I've never seen (in these parts, at least): It's a giant sailboat with a transom which drops down to form a platform. I posted a snapshot of the catalog I received at http://www.flickr.com/photos/22064729@N08/12489365885/ .
