I'm looking for a someone in the Southeast that can handle a bottom paint stripping and gelcoat refinishing. The 1980 hull is dry and in pretty good shape and I have a nice 50hpr Tohatsu on the back. I always thought the bottom paint held me back a little bit on the top end and it would be nicer and more efficient without it on there. It is kept on a trailer so it is really unneeded.
Any suggestions around [Tennessee] that can strip and refinish? I don't have the skill set to do it myself.

I'm in the Nashville/Franklin area and can't think of anyone. I'd suggest contacting Rock Island Marina and seeing if they know of someone. With all the high end boats and yachts they deal with they may have a contact.

Not sure if they would be able to help, but you might want to check into the Sea Ray facilities around the Vonore area (S.W. of Knoxville). I know that there is some good boating around that area and likely some good shops too. I just don't know of any personally.
