Does anyone here own a Conquest 21? Mine is a [model year 1999]. The cuddy cabin has an area in front of the porta-potti that would complete the birth, but mine is open. I love the jump seat set-up, but, for sleeping, a full berth would be better. Am I missing a some [thing] on starboard and a cushion? This is my sixth Whaler and I love the set-up of this the most so far. This is the only non-classic I have owned..

Yes, I have the same year and model. There is a starboard spacer that fills in the void in the middle to create a larger sleeping area.

There is no place on the boat to store it or the cockpit table for that matter. These things usually end up in the owner's garage and get forgotten when the boat is re-sold.

My children also enjoy the jump seat set up, avoids bouncing and on the berth and having your head hit the overhead while underway!

This model has a lot of extra amenities compared to the then new Easport 205 cuddy model when I was making my selection and purchase.

Thanks. I am afraid that the piece you are referring to is gone forever. I am going to check with the original owner and see if maybe he still has it.

This is my sixth Whaler and my first non-classic. I already love the boat and am in the process of rigging it to my liking. I have a 6,000-BTU marine A/C that I am installing where the porta potti went. When I cover the void in the birth, I have to figure out how to run the vents for the AC. I cant pics of the starboard filler at all
The amenities the boat has are surprising. I believe the cuddy cabin in this boat has a little more room than my BW Offshore 27 did.

Hi macdougall70,

I have a similar boat, 1998 Conquest.
When I go camping over night I sometimes take out the porta potty to give us more storage space.

My wife prefers it when we completely fill out the cabin space with a bed which we achieve by spaning a piece of plywood between the two bunks and then placing the two seat cushions you enquired about on top of the plywood.
During the day the plywood tucks nicely under one of the side bunks and the jump seats can be replaced as required.

We find the boat to be a very safe and versatile boat where you can expect to have a good time enjoying fishing, water skiing or just cruising.

It's great when the evening breeze kicks in.
All you do is put on the clears and suddenly you are perfectly sheltered from the elements.
You feel like your tucked away in a little cosy holiday nook where you can ponder with a tasty snack and a glass wine or a beer.

I am very interested in this observation. I have always had a love for the Offshore 27 due to its appearance, but I have never been aboard one to see its cabin. If the cabin is not very large on the Offshore 27, then I can use that to rationalize why I don't want to spend $100,000 getting one, re-powering it, buying new trailer, new truck, and new electronics. Thank you for saving me $100,000.

That's is a great suggestion and a quick fix Pete. That is my solution.
The area where the porta potti is located has been earmarked for a 6000 BTU marine ac unit that will be installed this coming Monday. My boat originally had a plumbed toilet, so the discharge and thru hulls are already in place. It will run on a very small EU1000 Gen.
The summers here are very brutal here in Miami so the AC will open up new doors for me and the family, I'm stoked...

Jim,

My old BW Offshore was a beautiful boat that was purchased by a gentleman from Montana. After he purchased the boat from me he stripped off the hardtop replaced all window seals, all wiring and spent a small fortune. Flat screen TV, all new electronics, new radar and all. It sits on a trailer in a heated barn most of the year.He called me last month because I asked him for the first right of refusal if he ever parted with it. If your looking at on of these, this is undoubtedly the nicest one around, period. If anyone is interested in the offshore I will be happy to connect you. I believe the boat could be had for about 50K, which he spent just on his upgrades. The thing is amazing. His reason for selling was not enough room in the cuddy for much, which I understand. He now has a 40 foot sailboat.

Cheers
