I am wondering if anyone has any advise on removing carpet adhesive from a deck. It seems like it has been there for a long time and it is not all the same color, so there has probably been more than one application. I tried scraping it a little but it seems like it has become very hard. I would like to at least get the rough stuff off so I can paint it. The non skid is not helping matters. I am not trying to restore it to original condition as the 13' hull is 48 years old. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
