Need new jack for Karavan OEM trailer for 190 Montauk. What capacity is the original Fulton? I would like to go for heavier model. Will heavier jack bolt to the 2' x 4" frame? Thanks |

I'll have a look at mine later today and post the number. Meanwhile, Harbor Freight sells a heavy duty jack for far less money. It seems like any magazine you pick up has a Harbor Freight 20% off coupon. Although the HF jack MAY not hold up as well as a Fulton I've read some good reviews on the HF jack on THT www.thehulltruth.com . There is an argument that says that although the HF jack may require more frequent replacement the long term cost is less than with the Fulton. Butch |

Saltwater or freshwater? The old jack doesn't have a weight range or model number on it? Are you sure that frame is only 2x4? 3x3 would be more common It's the height of the tongue that counts. Most trailer Chuck |

It's a 1200 pound jack. The only lettering on the jack is next to the swivel wheel axle. It says: CEQUENT CAP 1200 LBS. On the Fulton web site it lists the jack. Butch |

Bought another Fulton 1500 lb. dual wheels for 99 plus tax. Frame is 2x4 on the karavan which has a bracket that suits 4 sizes. Bit bigger in diameter than what I had. Mine was clicking when I cranked it. Thanks guys. |

I use it in saltwater but jack never goes in it. No numbers were on mine. Sad part is the old jack 07 was made in USA the new one is made in china. That is why we cannot have a decent economy again. |
