Topic:   Is the Conquest 28 an older hull design from the 285?

posted 07-15-2014 01:54 PM ET (US)      I’m in the market for a used Conquest with a mid berth, most likely the 285. I have been reading alot of conflicting information about hull design, ride quality and ability to handle the weight of repowering with four strokes. I know the hull was completely redesigned in 2012, but was there a redesign in the mid 2000's that improved the ride and could handle the added weight of the heavier outboards that started to come on the market?
