Does anyone know the make of the factory supplied trailer for the 2001 Dauntless?

The factory has been supplying Karavan trailers for several years. You could give them or Boston Whaler a call.
Dealers have been known to deliver Boston Whalers on other than Boston Whaler supplied trailers. That was the case for me when I bought a new 1999 Dauntless 16 from a Boston Whaler dealer in Florida. They delivered my boat on an aluminum I beam trailer with all the bells and whistles. The trailer is going strong after 15 years of salt water use with it's second owner.

My 2000 16' Dauntless came with a Shor'landr B1820 galvanized trailer that I still use. Back then I don't think the factory offered everything as a package, at least for that model. The dealer probably was responsible to select the trailer.

Give a large Boston whaler dealer a call to see if they have any orphaned trailers for your size boat leftover from prior sales. I was able to buy such a trailer for my 15'SS at a considerable discount compared to buying a new Caravan trailer from the dealer.
