We're looking to replace or mooring/trailer cover on our 1982 Montauk. It looks like a fair number of sites selling covers start with the 1983 model year. Is there any difference in dimensions that would render the 1983 cover unusable?

There is nothing that would cause an 1983 cover to not fit a 1982 Montauk.

I have a 1985 Montauk and recommend the Westland custom fit cover. It stays in place at 70+ MPH, but can also be used for mooring.
