I picked up a 1977 11' Sport with the intention of restoring it over the winter. It needs gelcoat repair in and out, screw holes filled, a new steering cable, and the wood refinished. It doesn't appear to be water logged and there is no motor.
I then found a 1998 13' Dauntless which I think will meet our needs a bit better so I'm selling the 11' Sport.
What do you think the value of this 1977 11' Sport is?

Where are you located?
My father used to own an 86 (I think) 11 footer (also Sport model), and I have followed listings of the them over the years. I've noticed that down south, where I think there are quite a bit more boats for sale, the value is substantially lower. My location for comparison though is the Washington, D.C. and Maryland area.
For example, I think Dad's old 11-footer is now up for sale with a 15-HP Yamaha for $1.500 with trailer. The boat is in good shape, with no holes or major scratches and scrapes in the gel coat. He sold it in 1996 for $3,250, the same we paid for it, in excellent shape.
