In years past we have had some great "Year in Review/ Your Favorite Photos of the Year". Since I have not seen one for this year yet I thought I would start one.

Most of my Whaler photos are from our Fall fishing trip in August on our 23 Walkaround Whaler Drive

The other was from a September outing when my son and I spent an overnight on the 23 at MetroBeach. We had a great evening cruise across Lake St Clair to the Detroit River with Dave Buckalew. IMG_6407_zps3a86d3a2.jpg IMG_6411_zpsdfe60f21.jpg

What photos do you have to share?

Photos....or Videos too.

This was from our shake down run prior to rigging the boat for the week of fishing. Lake Michigan was dead calm so we ran the boat through it's paces. This was a WOT run out of Platte Bay heading to Frankfort. The old 1993 Yamaha 150's with 1900+ hours on the original powerheads turned up 5400 RPMs with ease and ran 46.8 mph on the GPS.

Jeff--thanks for starting the thread. I'll look for some images from this year to share, too. I like the video; your boat is making a really narrow wake at 47-MPH.

And I can't belive how your son has grown!

We had five cruises in 2014.

On a cool and windy June day we anchored (by the stern) behind Fisherman's Island
in Grand Traverse Bay. Water temperatures were still in the 40-degree range.

Tobermory's Little Tub Harbour in Geograin Bay was crowded in early July. We got weathered-in for several days.

We went over to Flowerpot Island and hiked the shoreline
to see the famous flowerpot rock formations.

In early August we were in the North Channel. We climbed Casson Peak on a warm and hazy day.

Later in August we were back in Northport and Omena for four days for a family reunion. The boat didn't get much of a workout and neither did my camera

In October on a beautiful Sunday morning we cruised the St. Clair River aboard ROVING KIND,
Don Mac's very classic Chris-Craft Sportsman 30.

If I can, I'll make the images in-line--if they aren't too big.

Another perfect day to go fishing in Santa Barbara.
Hank heads for his favorite fishing grounds in his Boston Whaler Outrage 18'.

Have you ever noticed how dolphin are irresistably drawn to Boston Whaler boats?

I really enjoy this annual tradition on CW. It is a great way to reminisce during the long winter moths (for those of us in the frozen tundra), enjoy the vistas provided by other adventures and get new ideas for future trips.
I've emailed a couple of images to Jim in the hopes that they might be completed. One is of our Montauk 170 "Dog Star" on her mooring in Glen Lake (MI) last July and one of from an evening run on Mullet Lake in August. If there is a way for me to simply post them here please clue me in.
Dreaming of warmer days to come!

Waves never look very big in photographs compared to how they looked at the time the photograph was taken. On that basis, it looks like CROW was fishing in some rather large waves.
