Here is a little video of what we are dealing with here up north at my home port a couple of weeks ago. It is a little better now but still a lot of hard water in the harbor/marinas.

That is great work with the drone. What kind of helicopter and camera did you use? The flight is very smooth and the quality of the recording is excellent. I am very impressed.

Jim sorry this wasn't me it is a guy who used to be in a slip next to me in South Haven and always had top of the line DSLR cameras. He loves to fly his drone from the beach or boat. I believe it is a Bubsan with built-in HD camera. Not cheap but good quality and abble to fly in "bad" weather too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECHaHaZpMjQ
Hey the "warm" weather this weekend melted a lot of ice, maybe we can go boating the first weekend of spring here in Michigan.
