Not quite Repairs/Mods category, more of a Gam story, but a still a good can of paint.

Woolsey 699 Black anti-fouling, a gallon for $79.99 in 1997, and still going strong, well kind of. Bought it in 1997 when I bought my 1990 Revenge 22 - Walk-Thru on a trailer. The boat is never in the water more than 3-days at a time.

Just painted some of the bottom (being on a trailer, only need touch-up). About 3/16 of the can left, just add a bit of paint thinner every year and it makes wet "cottage cheese" that still brushes out smoothly.

19 seasons, not bad for a gallon.

That's pretty good milage. Now the question: Will there be enough left to bottom paint the Squall when it's finally dry enough to launch? By the way, when is the next weigh in?

Andy -

I'll keep the Squall white as paint would add weight. Next weigh-in is mid-June.

You still up for us to drop by June 5?

JimP, it's on the calendar and we are looking forward to it.
