I noticed the USCGC MACKINAW was a mile or two offshore from Northport for an hour or two this week. I presume she was at work setting a couple of buoys that mark shoals in that area.

On Tuesday May 19th the Mackinaw relocated and gave us what looked like a refurbished green can off of Stony Point. A nice change from our normal entertainment while we eat our supper.
