Jeff	posted 06-03-2015 11:48 PM ET (US)             You are referring to the classic Ritchie Explorer Compass. They came in Red and Grey and today even used ones can fetch $250-300. I myself have a brand new in the box Ritchie Explorer in Grey from the late 60's. It is one of my most prized parts in my cache.
