I think the [c.2015 Boston Whaler 190 MONTAUK boats] have a different rear door from the c.2007 [Boston Whaler 190 MONTAUK boats]. The tabs on the rear door of [a Boston Whaler 190 MONTAUK perhaps model 2007] have broken off. I think the new ones have a twist lock. Who makes [the tabs on the old model of rear door]? I would appreciate the information.

Also, I am looking for the c.2007 Montauk access door to the [fuel] tank sender. A twist handle tab broke off. I hate looking at it that way. It is made by Viking. I couldn't find [a replacement part for the twist handle tab of the access door to the fuel tank sender] on-line. I would rather skip the dealer if possible.

Viking Marine Manufacturing, Long Beach, California, telephone 562-432-2259 does sell to public [but can be] hard to reach sometimes. I bought [from them a] few times.

Contact Boston Whaler customer service to find out who made the tabs on the rear door of a Boston Whaler 190 MONTAUK c.2007 model year boat. They will be glad to help you.

Boston Whaler has the old style doors. The company [which made these old style doors has gone] out of business. I want the newer style doors which I believe (from photos and the Boston Whaler parts catalog) are small.

I only know of two hatches, or doors, aft of the console. They are vertical hatches on each side of the live baitwell. They snap into place and are not quite up to Boston Whaler quality It's not surprising they may have been upgraded on more recent 190 Montauks.

Butch--thanks for the clarification that the "doors" being sought are actually some sort of hatch covers.

You should really visit the Owner Resources Section of the Boston Whaler website.
