Im looking for a clean good running 15 or 16/17. I want a smaller boat than I have now. Must be within reasonable driving distance from Long Island. Will pay cash or trade my 1972 19ft Mako with 1987 90hp Evinrude and Shoreline trailer. The whole package is in excellent shape, engine runs strong, perfect compression and rebuilt carbs. Boat has brand new 32 gallon fuel tank. Please e-mail if interested. rwfiglia@optonline.net Thanks, Rich.... http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/starrynt/IMG_6020.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/starrynt/IMG_6019.jpg before I replaced the gas tank |

I am located in NJ and may be able to help you. What is the price range you are looking to stay within for your new boat? Will you still consider a 15' Whaler or are you just considering 17' Whalers? Where will the boat be used...in LI sound? |

thanks for the link to the one in CT. That has been for for sale for a while, it has been repainted and its rough but the engine look good. Friend99 , what are the details on the 15fter? Pics? I actually went to CT today to look at a 1986 Montauk that was complete piece of garbage, was a waste of time. The engine was ok but the boat was wrecked and the trailer was garbage. Rich... |

http://newyork.craigslist.org/fct/boa/530298077.html this is the boat I saw today! Stay Away. It is a complete mess, if anyone wants to see pics, let me know and I will e-mail them. I just do not want anyone wasting there time unless they want a hardened work boat. |
