Does anybody know anything about an 1800's Harpoon shiplog...it's a piece of heavy brass that they put on the propellor of ships to measure distance...I can't find any info on it..."T.Walkers Patent Harpoon Shiplog London" thanks,cheryl

i saw something similiar on a Christies auction in Europe for about 300 pounds....I'm selling mine on EBAY for $495.00....no bites yet...thanks again, cheryl.
