Does anybody know anything about an 1800's Harpoon shiplog...it's a piece of heavy brass that they put on the propellor of ships to measure distance...I can't find any info on it..."T.Walkers Patent Harpoon Shiplog London" thanks,cheryl

You welcome. What do these items bring in terms of resale? I think I have seen them around $1000.00.

i saw something similiar on a Christies auction in Europe for about 300 pounds....I'm selling mine on EBAY for $495.00....no bites yet...thanks again, cheryl.
