I would like to find a water temperature gauge and maybe a volt meter or water pressure gauge to fill two holes in the instrument panel on my Montauk.

They need to match the Tachometer. This tach is from the 1990s or perhaps earlier. The motor on the boat is a 1993 Mercury 90. I am not sure what series the tach is but here is a photo of it:

Tom - Those are the "International II" series, and they were first offered in 1989. When "Whale Lure" was first rigged in 1989, I installed 2 entire sets of these, but unfortunately I upgraded to the new domed type guages, and I sold the entire set to someone several years ago. You can see them on Cetacea page 2.

Your best bet to find them would be to check with Merc dealers who may have some left over, laying around in a display case or something like that.

If you can't find any, a reasonably close match are the Teleflex Red International series, widely available.

I have the same tachometer (rigged in 1993) and am curious as to what kind of fuel guage to add to my my console. The new fuel tank I just installed has an electric sender. Any suggestions?

OK, I found NOS Engine Temperature gauge. Larry is correct these are the International II Series gauges.

Now I just need a water pressure gauge (aside: 15 PSI or 30 PSI?) or a Battery Meter or even a clock.

Jay, you want the Fuel Gauge, part # 79-15108A1

Tom you may want to pull up the teleflex website and look at the Pro Series guages.

Tom, don't forget about e-bay

And also post a request over at Scream and Fly

I bought several NOS merc gauges at both locations when I rerigged my Activator

I dont know if any of these Quick Silver guages would fit the slot or be compatable. You may want to call these guys.

Tom (and others),

If you need International II gauges, I can get them for you brand new from Merc at dirt cheap prices. If someone is selling a trim gauge on eBay for $5 just to get it out of the garage, well, no, I can't beat that. But I can get the full set, from tach, to hourmeter, to trim, to water pressure, to speedo, and everything in between, for an excellent, NIB, price. I'll get a price list out in a bit.

seabob4,

Not to hijack Tom's thread, but do you have access to OMC gauges, and if so at what price?

Seabob-

Since Tom is now finished here, and while we're on the subject, what would be your price on a Mercury Flagship line dual engine synchonizer gauge kit, with "black box sender".

Alright you guys. Tom, yes, I'll order you an International II Voltmeter. Yes, I can get OMC/BRP gauges, but you might be interested in the Faria Euro SS gauges (white face, 316 SS bezel) that we have for OMC, system check, you know. And yes, I can get the Flagship engine synchro and black box. AT A GOOD PRICE! Email me. seabob4@earthlink.net. I will have to order, so it might take a couple of weeks. Unless you want the Faria's. I have them in stock. They are SLICK!

LHG,
My email is seabob4@earthlink.net. If you have an email address you'd like to give me, I'll get your price on the Flagship Synchro w/black box to you tomorrow via that. If not, I'll just post on this thread. O.K.?

LHG,
Your Flagship Synchro isn't cheap, and looking at my Merc book, doesn't say anything about "black box". Just says you need Tachs (duh). Looks like it would be around $140 NIB from Merc.
