posted 05-27-2008 06:27 PM ET (US)         For sale is a 1987 Sportfisher hull, 27 feet, with twin 225 Yamaha saltwater series outboards. Hull has cuddy cabin with v-berth, head, and sink. Huge back deck (beam is over 10 feet) with fighting chair. Outboards are mounted on Armstrong platform and cockpit area is covered by metal tower base. Outboards are 1998 models, installed new in 1999. Under 300 hours on motors and they run great. However, this is a project boat. It has been used once in the last four years. I had motors serviced (including injector cleaning) last year and hydrolic steering charged. The top needs new canvas or fiberglass, bilge pumps need repaired, needs new fuel tank selector switches, teak needs work, and there are basically no electronics on boat. Pictures available upon request. Hull is solid and in good overall shape. It needs bottom paint and needs a small repair around one cleat on starboard side. No blisters and rock solid. No trailer. Boat is located on dry rack at Romar Harbor Marina in Orange Beach, Alabama. Pictures available upon request. Ready to sell. Asking $12,000, but will entertain offers.
