Not sold yet! I didn't think bumping my post up to the top everyday was good form on this site! The boat does not have a trailer. It is in good shape and runs great but certainly not a showboat and I think it is priced to sell. I have never owned or been around a small boat that gets as many comments and questions as this one.

I would not be selling it but I am buying a boat from a friend that I can not pass up for the money. The new boat arrives next week.

It needs a good home.

A couple questions - Do all the electronics work? does the steering work smoothly? How old is the battery? Does it come with any equipment? Could you deliver it to Port Clyde?

The boat is actually in Thomaston now so you would probably prefer to run it to Port Clyde yourself! Call me on my cell this weekend 207-975-1876 and we can set up a time for you to look at it.

The Newport is gone, I sold it yesterday. It should now be on the Hudson river being enjoyed by a new family. Unfortunately for me I sold the boat for quite a bit less than I had originally planned but It sounds like she will be well taken care of which sealed the deal for me. This site has been a great resource and I want to thank all, especially Jimh for making it happen. The memories I have of growing up in and around Boston Whalers are very strong and this site just helps keep some of those adventures coming back to me.

I am now the proud owner of a classic Mako 21 but I will always be the biggest fan of old whalers and plan on my children starting out the way I did.
