Does anyone out there have an original BW leaning post that will fit a '95 Outrage 19? I have the two pedestal seats, but have searched high and low to find an OEM leaning post for this model to no avail. Thanks for your help!

Robert

I think the one I have for sale is off of a classic but I figured I would show you anyway.

Hi sraab928,

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I do think your leaning post is from a classic. Unfortunately (in this case), I have an Outrage II hull that has the molded deck liner. My captains chairs actually sit on a molded baitwell.

Thank you again for responding.

Cheers,
Robert

Would you swap leaning post for your seats?

No problem Robert - figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

I have an OEM Boston Whaler leaning post from a 2001 26' Outrage that I would like to sell. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks Jim 443-553-5900

RiverWhaler, I would be willing to swap my seats for the post (if it's the right one), but I'm afraid you wouldn't want my seats. They are the original seats with Springfield sliders, but the plastic parts of the sliders are age-cracked. The original slider utilized a plastic bow to tension the adjuster and it has long died. I have a really small bungee mounted up under the seat to tension the slide-lock. I can send pictures. Will you send pictures of your post? Thanks!

I think I should send a picture of the baitwell/seat setup in my boat for reference:

JDJET, will your post fit this setup?

Thanks for the responses!

Rush -

If no joy on the OEM, I think a Todd or other brand would fit on the existing bases.

Good luck.

Robert,

I think it would fit if the the molded fiberglass base for the seats was removed. My other concern is it seems like the base is recessed into the deck. If you want measurements of the post let me know. Thanks. Jim
