Hi Guys, My first post, although I have lurked around for a good while. I am not new to boating, and have always admired the Boston Whaler line. I am now looking at one to buy. The boat is a 1975 Montauk, (yes a "smirkless" design) with a 1996 Honda 90HP. I believe this is under the 400# transom weight (the Honda is about 360#, I think). My questions are these. On a hull that old, what should I most be looking for? I know the wood I can see, and I also know there is wood in the deck and in the transom, with no real way to check. So, I need some pointers to look at this hull. Thanks for your time.
