With the season upon us I'm taking orders for a few more brand new Montauk RPS backrests. They normally sell for more than 700.00 at Whaler Dealers without hardware, but I am offering them to CW members at $500.00 plus shipping AND they include the chromed handles and stainless steel rod holders. Orders must be prepaid allowing 2-4 weeks for delivery. email me at hunch@bellsouth.net for more information. http://www.outcast-anglers.org/zoo/rps1.jpg Thanks Hunch |

These look like teak-are they? Would it be any less to get one in Mahogany? I have my own handles from my RPS would there be a deduction for that-C |

I could do the RPS in Honduras Mahogany for around 400.00 unfinished plus shipping. They would require your applying several coats of varnish. I would recommend at least 6-8 coats to bring them to a yacht quality and durable finish. |

Just wanted to say that I bought one of the teak RPSs from his last batch for my 21-Ribside. BEAUTIFUL construction and handiwork. I am almost reluctant to mount it on the boat and take it in saltwater. It really is that beautiful. I don't know if they came that pretty from the factory! --- WhalerAce |
