Sold my 17' Montauk in 1989. Still kicking myself. Looking at Montauk 17, 19, and Outrage 19+/-. Came across a an ad for a freshwater only 1999 Montauk 17 described as "Like new, less than 30 hours on main engine. 1999 Evinrude 115 hp oil injected and similar age 8 hp Evinrude trolling motor. Lowrance 337C GPS/ sonar , Bimini top, new spare props for both motors. EZLoad galvanized trailer with spare tire, 27 gallon fuel tank under helm seat and new towing cover. Asking price is $16,500. Seems a bit high to me but I really don't know.

Try finding a 1999 Montauk with a kicker for $13K. It's not a ten year old boat, it's a ten year old Whaler with a couple of nice engines (the kicker alone adds around a grand). The right buyer will snap that right up at $16K. Roy |

Commish, I've got a pretty nice, clean '86 Montauk for sale in Bandon, OR. I've been vaguely trying to trade up, but haven't yet. '96 Yamaha power. Email me if you'd like pics.Real fine saleman, huh? My wife says I should just pay people to take my stuff. Dave |

If it has a fiberglass tank you will have to replace it. |
