Feeler,I have 2 motors, one running and one with a bearing that just went. The damaged motor was shut down immediately,so it should be an easy straight forward rebuild. Both motors are in exceptional condition. The comperssion on the bad motor (after the bearing went) is 115/110/110 and the running one 115/120/115. Both have stainless props and are comming off my Outrage 18. Depending what offers I get ,Ill either rebuild and keep the same setup(which I simply love) or repower. Looking to get $1400 for the running one,$600 for the one with bad bearings,or I can work ou a sweet deal($2800) for everything(complete dual setup, wireing, control cables(new),dual remote,2 sets of yamaha analog gauges, steering). All that will need to be done is repair the bad bearings.

thanks ,Jerry

Tough to repower Jerry, those babies weigh 226 lbs. each, almost everything new is 100 lbs more. I have the same engines and also love them, you aren't the guy with the nice cloth motor covers are you, interested in the covers if you sell the motors. Good luck in your choice, when my time comes it will either be twin 90hp Etecs or a single 175..........Jack

Bertramp-The boat is listed for sale on whalercentral. If your interested shoot me a pm.

Bulldog-I would love to go with the twin 90's or even a new 150 e-tech, but I just cant justify the expense right now. Just had our first baby ,lots of new expenses. As for the cloth motor covers, unfortunately they were stolen.

I just went to see a possible replacement motor,a 2000 Yamaha 70 tlr on a 84 supersport. The guy said it was in good condition. I was shocked to see the boat in such bad condition, and as for the motor, my 87's are in much better condition. Some people are delusional!

What are you looking for the 3 motor setup? I emailed you about it. Was the broken motor counter rotating and is the new one the same?
thanks
Erick

Spend the winter putting new bearings in #3 and then run trips next fall.
