I have a 1970 13' Whaler with a 40 hp Mercury (1973) engine. The boat was in a garage for the lawst 20 years and never saw the water. I rebuilt the engine completely this year.
New water pump, gaskets, wireing harness, fuel line, etc. It runs good, still a little problem in idling.
I want to get a little bigger boat.
What is it worth?
I have pictures but not sure how to attached them

Around $2,500 seems to be typical. The age of the motor along with its idling problem may scare people off.

I am looking for an older 17 Whaler. If you are in the northeast and the boat is currently for sale, please let me know.

Yes, this boat is for sale. I will put it on Craig's list and then have a link for pitures. Or I can send the pictures to you directly. I am going to list it for $2,200-Hope to have the pictures up in the next day or two.
