The way GSA is set up you can not link to any auction. Yes, there are always Whalers on there. Yes, most need a lot of work and more often than not they sell for more than they are really worth. Every once in a while you my get a deal if you know what to look for and talk to the right people who know about the vessel. If you see something you like set a realistic price and hold to it. You should also inspect the vessel before bidding as well that is unless you are willing to except the worst we you take delivery of it. Trust me the images only do not tell half of the story. Also do not bid unless you are 100% serious about purchasing the vessel no matter what and are able to pick the item up in the outlined time frame. If you win an auction and you do not pick up your item or, do not make payment in time, you will be held accountable for the assessed nonpayment fee. To go along with the nonpayment fee the GSA will also "repossess" and resell your item. The nonpayment fees are 10% of the winning bid or, $75 which ever is greater. For example if your winning bid is $10,000 for a boat on GSA and you do not pick up or, make payment the item, you have to still owe a $1000 fee and they keep the boat and resell it. Remember this is the US government they will get their money.

That is a 96 hull.
Rare mini cuddy.
Full transom.
One of the nicest 22's Ive seen offered at auction in 5 years of checking almost daily. I want it.
Too far away.

IMO, the tall bow rails, keel guard, HD fendering indicates launch service more than Military or Justice work. I could be wrong.

Now read Jeffs post again.
