I would perfer a model year with no wood, as I don't have the time to treat it properly it would be a sin to have it go uncared for. Local to the Northeast would be best; but I would travel to get the right hull. I would also consider a "newer" 170 priced right with or with-out power if I could get into the hull, maybe by selling the motor, for around $8,000. I currently have an E-TEC 115HO that I'm going to use to re-power this boat.
